What this is

Care Standards Checker publishes Australian care-quality requirements as open data and reads the text you paste against them. It is a reading of your text, not an audit, not a certification and not legal advice.

No compliance conclusion

A requirement marked as mentioned in your text is one your document talks about. It is not a statement that a control is in place, and a requirement marked as not mentioned is not a finding of non-conformance. A quality assessor decides whether a requirement is met. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to a regulator, an auditor or a funder.

The requirement data

Each requirement is our statement of a clause of a held framework, cited to that clause, not the instrument verbatim, and where a framework is not held in full the page names it and does not state it. The data at /api/standards.json is free to reuse with attribution. Always check the primary instrument before you rely on a line.

Your account and your text

You keep your text. You give us only what is needed to run the reading you ask for, and to store a reading you save. Do not paste participant records or other personal information into the reading.

Plans

The free run is free. The paid reading is AUD 19 a month or AUD 149 a year, billed by Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time from the account page; access runs to the end of the period paid for. Prices are in Australian dollars and include nothing else.

Availability and changes

The frameworks change; when a held framework changes, the pages and the open data are rebuilt from the new text and the generated date moves. The reading method is described on the method page and will not be described as something it is not.
