What is an NDIS quality indicator?

The NDIS Practice Standards state, module by module, the quality standard a registered provider must meet for the supports it delivers. A quality indicator is how that outcome may be shown, and an approved auditor assesses the provider against them. Providers meet them in practice far more often than they can show it on paper.

Answered from the held text of NDIS Practice Standards core-3.1. The clause behind it is cited below, and the requirement page carries the evidence an assessor asks for.

What the clause behind this answer says

core-3.1 Person-centred supports: participant rights built into everyday practice
Workers and managers understand the legal and human rights of each participant, and those rights visibly shape how supports are planned and delivered day to day rather than sitting only in a policy.

core-10.1 Risk management: organisational and participant risks identified and treated
Risks to the organisation, including risks to participants, financial and work health and safety risks, and risks from providing supports, are identified, analysed, prioritised and treated.
