The requirement
The platform provider checks, and shows on the platform, for each person offering supports and for each person they engage: whether an NDIS banning order applies; whether a banning order under the Aged Care Act 2024 or the former Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Act 2018 applies; that the credentials or qualifications shown on the platform are actually held; for individuals, that a worker screening clearance is held; and plain information on how checks of credentials are done. This applies from 1 January 2027.
